I have been trying to build up stock ready for the upcoming fairs and expos. I thought you might like a sneaky peak ahead of the events so here goes:
First off, a scarf from my own hand spun and hand dyed yarn...
Secondly a cowl from Debbie Bliss yarn bought from Purely Wool in Lancaster.
Finally I have set myself a challenge to spin a variety of shades of pink yarn... Here's the spinning so far.
I'm back with a vengeance and all I can say is, look out for me at Barton Grange from 1st May at the guild exhibition...

Recent spinning
I never subscribed to yarn clubs and don't have the concentration span for large projects. However recently I have been buying fibre from Dyespinknit and thought you might like to see the results. The latest fibre is a mix new to me, a blend of trilobal nylon, silk and wool. It has a lovely sheen and is lovely and soft. What surprised me bout the fibre was that I didn't expect it to turn out this way. It exceeded my expectations.
the question now is - what should this beautiful yarn become? What do you think? Please let me know your thoughts...

Kick start
I've neglected things for the last few months as I've been nursing for quite a few days per week. Thats all set to change after this week. My latest assignment comes to an end this week and I can devote some time to getting my stock levels up again. At the beginning of May I have some exhibits at Barton Grange Garden Centre in the Lancs and Lakes spinners Weavers and Dyers exhibition. It's worth dropping to see - there'll be lots to see, demonstrations and things to buy so do pop in.
